  • 1.  Question about checklist functionality

    Posted 02-07-2025 09:19

    Hi,

I have created a form in Truecontext that includes the checklist functionality. Please see attachment 1 ("Picture1 crossdock check 20250207") for an image of what I created. When I fill in the form, I can easily select one or multiple values. The problem is that when I submit the form (by clicking on send), the result only contains the values that were selected. See the example in the attachment ("Result truecontext form crossdock check 20250207").

I am also very interested in the values that were NOT selected, as these values are very important as well.

To summarize my question: How can I change the form so that when it is submitted, it shows all values, both selected and unselected (along with information indicating whether each value is selected or not)?

    Thank you very much.

Let me know if you need any further assistance!

    Kind regards,

    Jeffrey

Hi Jeffrey, you'll need to use a custom document to display all of the mutliselect options and whether or not they have been selected.  Scott Daly, our Senior Manager of Implementation Services, provided an example of how to do this using Handlebars. You can see his post here: https://community.truecontext.com/discussion/showing-multiselect-box-values-using-handlebars#bm781d8d4c-1fef-4945-ae52-0190cba9448b

I hope that helps you out.
