  • 1.  PUSH VALUE TO A BOOLEAN FIELD IN SHAREPOINT LIST

    Hello,

    I'm trying to send a Yes/No or True/False value from ProntoForms to a Sharepoint List Boolean field.

    I have tried:

    Yes/No question in Prontoforms > it fails

    A text question with Yes/No in Prontoforms > it fails

    A text question with True/False in Prontoforms > it fails

    A text question with true/false in Prontoforms> it fails

    In the resouces documentation it says that boolean fields are supported.

    Does anybody know how/what needs to be set up in Prontoforms to push it to the boolean column in a sharepoint list?

    Hi Alicia

    I'm looking into this and will let you know. In the meantime, I can't find that we support boolean on the SharePoint List data destination pages, although we do support it in the SharePoint List data source. I can see how it would be misleading, we will need to reword that.

    Hi

    While perhaps not the answer you are looking for, having the SharePoint field set up as a text field should work (I have used this option and it works well).

    We have thought of that, but that SharePoint list feeds a PowerApps App that would need to be reprogrammed. That would be the last solution.

    Hi Alicia

    Our Engineering team is going to investigate this week and determine what it would take to add Boolean to the supported types. SharePoint is a finicky system so I don't want to assume it is easy. If it is something we can support within a reasonable level of effort we will look into adding that field to the supported types. That would be weeks away though. I can keep you updated through email from either myself of @David Casal Del Castillo.

    thanks a lot. This is not the first time I come across with this issue and I have always had to change the sharepoint field into a text field. It would help a lot.
