Let's talk about Form Resources

    Hi folks,

Like @Natalie Tallon, I'm one of the Product Managers here at ProntoForms, and I'd like to ask a few questions about how you're using Resource Documents and Form Images, which I'll collectively refer to as Form Resources. These are offline-available items that can be used on multiple forms, and I know a lot of folks use them to embed helpful, contextual diagrams into forms or help resources.

Like Natalie regarding DREL, I'm interested in any feedback on Form Resources, but here are some questions to get you started:

    1. Do your field users have to refer back to manuals or other documents in the field while doing their day-to-day work?

    2. What format are those manuals in?

    3. Are these manuals/documents tied to specific actions or tasks (i.e. questions within the form)?

    4. What kind of information do you need to share with your field users while they're completing their work? Are there standardized pieces across multiple types of work, or is it specific to one task/job?

    5. How do you currently use form resources?

    6. What kind of access control do you need around these resources? (Formspaces, groups, or team-level?)

    7. Versioning - Do your field users have to carry multiple versions of the same manual to address older equipment or assets/processes?

If you're not comfortable answering these questions here, please feel free to toss me a direct message - I'm open to any and all feedback on this feature, and the more info you can give me, the better I can make it in future.

Looking forward to hearing from the Community!
